Application Process

Thank you for your interest in living in the Hawthorne Buildings! We believe in providing quality service and a safe, clean environment for our residents!. Availability pages for each property may be found through the site navigation. Once you have decided which Apartment(s) you wish to apply for, please read this page and the linked application materials carefully.

Each Applicant must complete and submit the following materials.

Download, read, complete, sign, and return:
  • photo identification that includes a signature (e.g. a driver’s license or other government issued photo identification card)

If, according to the Application Instruction Letter, you will need obtain a Guarantor (Co-signor), please additionally download, and have the co-signor complete, sign and return:

All of these forms linked above, may be completed either electronically or by printing. To sign the forms electronically you will need to use the freely available
Adobe Acrobat PDF reader.

Be sure to denote the building of the apartment(s) you are interested in. This is available via a pull down menu on the document in acrobat, or by hand entering it on a print-out.

Each application must be signed to be considered. Applicant signatures are required on page 2 of the Application letter and on both pages 3 & 4 of the Application. Co-Signor signatures are required on page 2 of the guaranty application and page 1 of the Guaranty Agreement.

Your rental application will be processed in the order it is received. Your application must be complete to be reviewed. Should you be approved, please be aware that a Security Deposit in the amount of one month’s rent will be required prior to Lease Signing.
